An oak and teak top table from the famous Arnold Public School in Blackpool alumni included from the list of Academics, Athletes and Business persons etc include Sir William Lyons - Co-founder of Jaguar Cars, Michael Smith - Nobel Prize Winner, Jimmy Armfield CBE - 43 caps for England football team and captained 15 times, Tom Graveney - 79 tests for English Cricket, John Pritchard - Current Bishop of Oxford, Geoffrey Thompson - Owner of Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Jenna-Louis Coleman - Actor (Current Dr Who Companion, Emmerdale, Captain America). These are the shorter tables of those that we acquired from the school''s amalgamation with The King Edward school that was in close proximity. With solid oak underframe and a superb solid teak top this is finished in a more natural, traditional manner with the original drawers complete with minor graffiti and ink stains, only the brass swan neck handles are a later addition.
