Victorian Mahogany Antique Occasional Table
This Superb Country House early / mid 19th Century Victorian Mahogany Antique Occasional Table / Lamp table dates from ca. 1840 and has a circular beautifully figured top with unusual Rosewood cross-banded edge. The top tilts on the original mechanism so can be neatly stored in a corner of a room if desired. This sits above a beautifully turned pedestal with tripod splayed, moulded legs. This wonderful antique table comes with original charm and character, the Mahogany has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
