Description

This is a good early 19th century French Mahogany and marble Gueridon table with a wonderful rich colour and patina dating from around 1830.

The table base in figured mahogany has a hexagonal bulbous column with tripartite scroll legs having scallop carved detail to the toes and really characterful claw feet to the edges that are raised on their original castors. The top is in a lovely quality, shaped and figured black marble that is in excellent condition.

A very smart early example with a lovely warm colour and patina.

The table measures 90 cms in diameter and is 72 cms high.
