A C19th rosewood centre table, with striking timber to the top and moulded edge. The elaborately carved base with splayed legs and scroll toes with sunken castors. Stamped to top of base ''T. WILLSON 68 GREAT QUEEN STREET LONDON''. Circa 1835.

This stamp of Thomas Willson (1799-1854), has been found stamped on some late 18th and early 19th century furniture, directories listing Willson variously as a furniture auctioneer, upholsterer, broker and appraiser.
