Three long drawers to one side and three dummy drawers on the other, with lovely shaped, original drop bar handles. Panelled sides with four shaped legs join a lower shelf. Six shaped feet terminating on square blocks. There is a panelled middle section to support the weight of the top.

The French drapers table was a common feature in the cloth merchant's shops in days gone by. The tops of these tables have a large surface area perfect for the unfurling and cutting of cloth and drawers to the frieze to provide space for the cutting tools.
