Large Victorian Mahogany Antique Writing Table
Of superb proportions and dating from around 1860, this early 19th Century large Victorian Mahogany Antique Writing Table / Library Table / Desk ca. 1840 has a beautifully figured top with lots of genuine, wonderful charm and character and rounded corners. This sits above two drawers with beautiful turned handles and has faux drawer on the opposite side so can be placed in the centre of a room if desired. This fine Victorian antique writing table has shaped sides with scrolled decoration, a turned cross stretcher and turned feet. The Mahogany has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture bees wax finishing.
