Chippendale Mahogany Silver Table.

18th century
Description

A Chippendale mahogany silver or centre table with finely carved shallow blind fret frieze and C scroll carved brackets all round. The table stands on carved square tapering legs with good detail on to block feet and original barrel castors. It is free standing with good carving all round and English Circa 1760.The small blocks on the underside of the table have at some time been added to keep the top, which is in four pieces, together.
