Superb mid 19th century Italian parquetry centre table. The tilt top, with central star burst motif, set within crossbanded concentric circles, and a diamond inlaid frieze below. The various exotic timbers including rosewood, harewood, walnut, sycamore and mahogany, the principle timber of use being oak. Raised on a finely turned column with acanthus leaf carving work and three outswept cabriole legs with scrolled feet. An exquisite piece, retaining original patina.
