Pair of Demi-lune Side Tables

19th century
Description

Circa 1800 and later. A pair of George III style mahogany semi-elliptical mahogany inlaid tables, tops with boxwood string inlay to the foredges, single drawer in the frieze with heraldic shaped escutcheon and swan neck handles, resting on 4 elegant square tapering legs with a classic gothic arch and dot inlay, this occurs on quite a lot of Edinburgh furniture from the late 18th century, the neat size tables are clean and stylish.
