Why Sellingantiques dated this piece to THE 18TH CENTURY:

Slender square tapering legs: cabinet making from the late George III period.

Boxwood stringing to the edge and apron: typical late 18th-century inlay work.

Uneven surface oxidisation and gentle handling marks: natural ageing across two centuries.

Demi-lune top opening on a gate leg: standard folding tea table design of the period.

This is an independent date report produced by Sellingantiques using its own proprietary system. The process uses the photographs shown on this page. The system is never told the date the dealer has declared. This report shows that the two dates corroborate.
