Georgian Mahogany Side Table.

18th century
Description

A Geo III mahogany side table with single drawer standing on turned legs with bold brass castors. The table has bow ends and the legs have brass caps at the top and unscrew so it was probably made to be transported. Great colour and patina, it appears the table may at one time have been reduced by 1 or two inches in depth. Very useful as a shallow side table or behind a settee for lamps and writing. English Circa 1800.
