Table Stunning Rare Elm Refectory West Country George IV C1820

Here we have a wonderful rare stunning West country solid Elm refectory dining table c1820. As you can see the table has beautiful colour and patina. The photographs make the top look a little yellow from the downlights but this table has a warm rich nutty colour. It has never been cut back and re waxed so the patina is excellent. The table is a very comfortable 6 seater but could seat 8 if required. The table is typical of West country tables we have had in the past with the side flaps to extend the depth. The top has wonderful grainy Elm planks and there is a shallow frieze which leads to well turned Elm legs. A super period table which is in excellent retail condition and ready for everyday use. The dimensions are approx 175 cm long 103 cm wide extended 76 cm high. 78 cm deep flaps down.
