Here we have a stunning fine quality Victorian burr Walnut card games side hall lamp or console table c1870. As you can see table has excellent colour and patina. The top has the most delicious burr Walnut half matched veneer with a triple string inlay of Box Ebony Box. The border is finshed with fine Amboyna and a stepped thumb moulded edge. The top twists and unfolds to reveal a baize interior with a burr Walnut border. The top is very fine quality and the base also does not disappoint. The base is solid Walnut and quatre form. There are beautiful turnings and acanthus carved legs terminating in original ceramic casters. A super table of compact proportions of the highest quality in excellent retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 85 cm wide 46 cm deep 74 cm high.
