Pair of French Gilt Console Tables

Description

Beautiful pair of mid c19th French gilt wall mounted console or pier tables with original Carrara marble tops.

Super quality and very elegant pair of console tables, often at this size they would be used between windows, thus known as "pier" tables and very likely had a pair of mirrors above. There are some notches out of the back corners to the marble tops that look very like there was an up stand for a mirror perhaps.

The condition is good to both tables and they fit to the wall with a single screw fitting ( which I will add to the tables for you ). The marble top on the left console table has a pale stain or mark to it, but doesn't really detract as they are such a decorative pair of tables and draw your eye down to their amazing legs!

Measuring:

35 1/2 inches or 90 cm high

17 1/4 inches of 44 cm wide

15 inches or 38 cm depth
