Anglo Indian Antique Carved Side Table with Interesting History

This is a well carved Edwardian antique octagonal side table that has a large, interesting paper label on the underside. H.T.Nappin I.U.L. headquarters. The I.U.L. refers to British Army non commissioned officers who were taken from their regiments to do duty with the Indian Army. The headquarters were ate Meerut District, Ranikhet. The table is is in fabulous condition ands a good size, the carvings feature vine leaves and bunches of grapes. Dates to around 1900.
