Victorian Figured Walnut Card Table

Description

19th century card table circa 1860-1880 with superb butterfly matched walnut veneered top, opening to reveal a baize lined playing surface. As you can see this card table is of excellent quality and in very good condition including the baize interior, standing on a carved walnut base with four carved feet which terminate in the original brass and white ceramic castors. The top turns 90 degrees to open and reveal a storage area for playing cards then the hinged top can be opened onto the base to provide a well supported playing area
