Here we have a fine early Victorian burr Walnut desk or writing table c1840. As you can see the desk has great colour and patina. There is a tooled leather skiver to the top with a wonderful burr Walnut border with a cantered edge. There are two drawers below with Satinwood inlay and original turned wooden handles. The drawers are Mahogany lined and have hand cut dovetail joints and internal dust beads. The underneath of this desk does certainly not disappoint. There are beautiful solid Walnut carved columns and legs which are joined by a central stretcher. A super period desk in fantastic retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 113 cm wide 60 cm deep 73 cm high.
