Antique Early Georgian Country Oak Joined Gate Leg Drop Leaf Table Seats Six People C1720 Wdb4875/7.7

Description

Lovely antique george 1st country oak joined gate leg table and dating form around 1720. It has a plank top with drawer to one end which is oak lined and with brass handle and a shaped frieze below and to the other end is a shaped frieze. It stands on turned and block legs with a turned foot and joined by turned stretchers with double squared stretchers to the gates. It is peg joined.

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the oak which also has a lovely grain and there are a few dark marks which are part of the grain that have darkened over the years forming the patination and it oozes the charm and character of the early georgian country oak period.

Measures: 29" high X 17" (closed) X 53" (fully open) X 47" wide
