Early Victorian Extending Mahogany Dining Table Seats Twelve

Description

This table is known as a 'split pod', because the centre column is in two pieces to support both ends of the table when fully extended and the bonus is having extra leg room for diners.

The table is supported on the original casters with a push and pull mechanism which allows one two or three leaves to be used at any one time.

The three leaves are original to the table and all are in very good condition. The table stands strong , straight and solid.
