Rare and Large Antique Japanese Satsuma Koro.

Description

A very large Satsuma koro with an extremely well pierced lid . It is an early piece of satsuma which is very well decorated throughout and with excellently painted borders framing each panel .

Amazingly it is in absolutely perfect condition , no damage , no restoration and no rubbing to the gilding .

A rare piece of satsuma , signed in a cartouche on one of the panels .
