Spectacular Mellow Rosewood and Brass Inlaid Regency Circular Centre Table

Of Magnificent Quality and Extremely Unusual with Brass Inlay, This 19th Century Regency Circular Centre Table dates from around 1830. It has a circular beautifully figured top which tilts with a brass mechanism and stands on a tapering inlaid pedestal with quadraform base, four splayed legs with brass lion paw castors. The rosewood has aged to a rich mellow shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
