The table is supported by four elegant cabriole legs, with acanthus leaf carved detail on the knees, terminating on well-defined claw and ball feet.

Condition Report:

This is a superb quality antique English Queen Anne style carved burr walnut nest of three coffee tables, with a serpentine design and removable glass tops, circa 1920 - 1930, in excellent original condition. Nominal old use marks to the leading wooden edges and glass surfaces but nothing significant considering the age of the item. The walnut tables have been cleaned and French polished, by hand, to a professional standard in our workshop, therefore the colour and patination is of an excellent standard. There are no stains or watermarks to the walnut tops. There are no missing veneers to the top; the legs are solid, with no breaks. The tables are constructed of a solid walnut frame with a burr walnut veneer top. The floral carving to the moulding is intact. This item is solid in joint, does not wobble and is ready for use.

Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.
