A Victorian Rosewood Marquetry Triangular Dropleaf Occasional Table.

19th century
Description

The triangular top having 3 panels of book-matched veneers with double cross banding. The 3 hinged flaps each with bone inlays and marquetry inlaid tulipwood floral swags and foliate scrolls with cross banded surrounds. Each flap held by swing-out lopers creating a circular platform once all open. Standing on shaped cabriole legs with terminating on brass castors. The under tier joining the legs with circular brass gallery and scrolled supporting brackets.
