Lee Wright Antiques & Interiors Ltd has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
A single drawer with oak linings and with an engraved brass escutcheon. The frieze has a canted edge. Raised on cabriole legs, terminating on pad feet.

In the drawer there is a label which indicates that the table belonged to the 'House of Lords' at one time - in the chancellor's residence. Wonderful colour and patination.
