Antique Regency Mahogany Fold Over Tea Table C1800 Wdb4773/9.6

Description

Antique regency mahogany fold over tea table and dating form around 1800. It has a thick satinwood cross banded edge to the top which is strung with ebony and with canted corners above a deep mahogany frieze with long drawer to the front which is oak lined and with brass handles and edged with ebony stringing. It stands on squared and tapering legs which are also ebony strung and with original brass castors. It folds by means of a double gate leg action.

In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the quality mahogany oozing the charm and character of the regency period.

Measures: 29" high X 19" deep (closed) X 38" (open) X 39.5" wide X knee height 24"
