Description:
The table has been constructed in the traditional joined manner, boasting a three-plank solid pine oak top with a narrow-scribed border. Below, the table features a straight moulded frieze to the front, rear and left side. To the right-hand side is a pine lined drawer, with dovetail construction and retaining the original working lock, with working key. The drawer features two ebonised turned knobs. The table is raised on substantial turned beech baluster legs. The table top features a lovely colour & grain configuration, having been polished in our workshops. The table comfortably seats 6 people. The table is sufficiently tall enough to fit your legs underneath and is sufficiently wide to accommodate serving dishes in the centre of the table. The table has been solidly constructed and is of very good quality – it is heavy to lift!

Condition Report:
This solid Victorian pine kitchen refectory dining table is in excellent condition considering its age. Nominal old use marks to the top, the frame and leading edges. The top does show signs of daily usage, but this does not affect the appearance or useability of the table. The table is solid with no breaks, structural damage or loose movements. The table has been cleaned and wax polished in our workshop. The table top boasts a fantastic mellow brown pine colour and patination; this can only be achieved through age and years of care and cleaning it has received. The drawer, which may be a later addition, features a working brass leaver lock and key and two solid knobs. This table is heavy, with good build quality, which is always a sign of good quality.
