This Quality Late 19th Century Victorian Oak Antique Writing Table / Desk dates from ca. 1880 and is in the style of Edwards and Roberts.
This spectacular antique desk stands on four beautifully turned barley twist upright supports, has barley twist cross stretchers and four splayed legs with brass castors. It has been beautifully carved by a skilled Victorian cabinet maker and the Oak has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
