Description:
The table boasts a rectangular moulded two-piece figured mahogany top. The table features an old period replacement brass locking latch, which allows the tabletop to be tilted vertically for storage and to show off the lovely grain configuration on the top, or removed for easy transportation. The table retains its original solid brass thumbscrews either side of the hinges, which can be tightened once the tabletop is folded, or unfolded, to secure it in position. Removing these brass screws detaches the table-top from the pedestal base. The table is raised on a central ring turned, column, which terminates on four splayed reeded legs. The legs rest on the original brass castors & castor cups.

The table can accommodate between 4 – 6 persons and is sufficiently tall enough to comfortably fit your knees underneath. It is also sufficiently wide enough to accommodate serving dishes in the centre of the table.

The table has been cleaned and French polished, by hand, to a professional standard, therefore the colour and patination is of an excellent standard. There are no marks, damage, stains, or scratches to the top. The table features the original top, base, pedestal, legs and brass castor cups and brass castors, with a period replacement locking brass latch. The table boasts a fantastic colour and patination.
