George III Inlaid Demi-lune Card Table

Description

A good quality late 18th century George III mahogany demi-lune CARD TABLE in fine original condition. The well-figured top is elegantly cross-banded with rosewood and features a marquetry panel to the rear. It opens to reveal the (replaced) baize and is supported on tapering legs featuring oval marquetry panels of thistles to the top of each and terminating in spade feet. Good original finish. c1785-1795. 36ins wide; 18ins deep.
