Georgian Mahogany Bird Cage Top Antique Table

Dating from the 18th century around 1780 in The Georgian Era, This Striking Mahogany Antique Table / Supper Table has a large one piece beautifully figured top with moulded edge and tilting mechanism with unusual bird cage mechanism which allows the top to revolve on the base. This splendid antique table stands on an elegant turned pedestal with tripod splayed legs and pad feet. This fine country piece comes with wonderful charm, character and the Mahogany has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
