Here we have a very rare Victorian Walnut drum, rent or library table by Maple and Co c1880. As you can see the table has wonderful colour and patina. As you can imagine the table is of outstanding quality having been made by the famous cabinet makers and retailers Maple and Co. The table has remarkably retained the original leather skiver which has lovely patina from ink etc. Of course if this were not to your taste the leather could be replaced by a fine quality hide. There are two drawers which have there original brass handles. The drawers have hand cut dovetail joints and are Mahogany lined including bases. The drawers are stamped Maple and co and have Hobbs and Co locks. There is a beautiful and elaborate under tier with architectural legs with perfectly executed reeded decoration. There is also reeded decoration to the wonderfully shaped feet which terminate in fine quality brass casters. A fine quality table in super retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 92 cm wide 92 cm deep 75 cm high.
