An unusual early 19th century mahogany fold over card table or solitaire table (for playing patience), the well figured plain hinged top opening over a gateleg, with a single frieze drawer to the front with its original turned wooden handles, on turned supports. English circa 1830.
Condition: Excellent, the table is robust and solid, the drawer runs easily and the gateleg opens smoothly. The timber has a good patina and a pleasing slightly faded colour, with excellent grain, and inside the top retains a wonderful rich colour.
