A stunning Sitzendorf (German region of Thuringia) continental flower basket centrepiece Circa 1890.

High quality, great colours, exceptional condition for age with only minor flower chips, exactly as shown in the photographs. Flower basket (with brass positioning socket) separates from the trunk stand which has two classical figurines standing on the quatrefoil base each side of the figures are leaf form sweet baskets.
