Description

Circa 1870, rare and unusual pair of leather top, satin birch library tables or writing tables. With tooling, gilded and crackled effect on the leather tops with cross banding and rounded fore-edges, over a simple apron. On ring turned, tapering bulbous legs with carved roundels and a platform base, united by a turned, tapering stretcher. With squat bun feet on porcelain and brass castors.
