Description

This charming mahogany tilt-top occasional table is synonymous with the Eighteenth Century, and is a particularly attractive example. Now, after sensitive restoration, it would be perfect choice for a lamp or wine table in a contemporary or period setting. Its colour, surface, size and originality are all in its favour - the iron table clip that secures the top when flat, the wooden bearers and block that link the top to the vase turned column (see image), and the iron supports that give added strength to its three-legged base all appear to be of a similar period (Diameter 56 cm).
