Antique Victorian Green Man Carved Gothic Oak Console Side Table C1880 Wdb95/5.4

Description

Antique victorian carved gothic oak console side table and dating form around 1880. Constructed from solid carved oak in the jacobean and celtic style it has a raised, shaped and carved back with carved 'green man' mask to the centre and with a carved edge to the plank top and long carved frieze drawer with lions head handle whch is oak lined and to either side of the drawer is a further carved lions mask corbal support. It stands on squared and carved club legs with a carved paw foot.

In very good condition with a lovely deep nut brown colour and patination to the oak oozing the charm and character of the gothic period.

Measures: 38" high to back X 30" high to table top X 16.5" deep X 41" wide
