Very decorative and fantastic size French Louis XV style five drawer console table, circa 1930 and in super condition.
The proportions of this console table are generous, but also it is a good shallow depth so as not to overpower. It gives surface space for a pair of table lamps etc and will accommodate a large mirror hanging above as the shows.
The paint is the original, a pale off white or ivory tone with a highlight colour to the raised carving and serpentine edge to the top.
Although such a great width, this is still a very elegant piece with those fabulous shaped legs and ''hoof'' feet.
Great piece and certainly an unusual find!
