Antique Early Georgian Country Joined Oak Gate Leg Dining Table C1720 Wdb4689/28.4

Description

This is a lovely antique george 1st country oak gate leg dining table and dating from around 1720. It has an oval plank top with original pegged joints with a shaped frieze to one end and single drawer to the other end which is oak lined and with brass handle. It stands on turned and block legs all joined by a squared stretcher.

Seats six to eight people comfortably.

It is in very good condition with a lovely nut brown colour and deep patination to the oak.

A lovely example of an early georgian country oak table,

Measures: 29" high X 19" (closed) X 55" (open) X 45" wide
