Antique Early Victorian Octagonal Carolean Oak Centre Drum or Small Dining Table C1850 Wdb260/28.4

Description

This is a superb antique victorian oak carolean centre or drum table and dating form aorund 1850. A victorian revival from the restoration period of charles 11 with a deep octagonal oak top with deep frieze which is geometrically moulded and carved with a drawer on each side which is oak lined and with working key. There is a carved and shaped frieze to all the edges and with heavily carved finials to each corner. It stands on heavy bulbous block and twist legs on a bun foot all joined by an X shaped stretcher with large finial to the centre.

This superb table is in very good original condition with a lovely deep nut brown colour and patination to the oak and would also make a very nice small dining table.

Measures: 30.5" high X knee height 24" X 42" X 42"
