Description

This is an attractive early 19th century mahogany console table with a very smart appearance dating from around 1820. The table has a good rich colour and nice patina and is in excellent condition. The legs have an out swept design with elegant carved paw feet resting on a plinth base and there is a useful, concealed, long drawer to the frieze. The clean fossilised black marble top is in very good condition and measures 114 cms by 45 cms deep with the table being 84 cms high overall.

A very handsome piece, most elegant for a hall or alcove.
