Early C19th Regency mahogany circular dining or centre table 60” diameter.

Superbly figured and patinated mahogany circular dining table raised on a ‘lotus-leaf’ carved and turned column with gently swept broad-span four-legged splay supports fitted with original cast-brass claw feet castors .

The table top with a shallow 2” inset frieze and beaded mould surround beneath the table’s edge , which provides an elegant profile whilst also allowing maximum room and ample height provision whilst dining and for chair placement.

The 5 feet ( 60” ) diameter top providing comfortable accommodation for 8 diners , the radial seating allowing ease of conversation and sociability.

The elegant broad quadruple supports of the base providing excellent strength and stability . No breaks ,damage or repairs.

The figured mahogany top has achieved an exceptional mellow patina and colour , retaining its original polish and ‘skin’ . The top being completely flat and true .
