Early C19th late George III period rosewood drop-leaf sewing or work table .

Elegant rosewood miniature drop-leaf table raised on tapering square section legs fitted with original brass castors . The tops of the legs each with fine brass-line inlay .

Fitted two drawers with original cast brass knob pulls , the reverse with identical simulated drawer fronts . Brass key escutcheons and locks present but no key .

The strikingly figured rosewood top with a continuous band of inset satinwood inlay .

In excellent original condition with a beautiful colour and patination to the well-selected highly-figured rosewood.

A useful small-scale table perfect for use as a lamp table or similar, with the addition of it’s original functionality.
