Superb unusual burr oak desk the sloping front with a lovely fretwork gallery and a tan leather writing surface opening to reveal a few compartments and a slender drawer below .This is all raised upon two shaped stylish slat sides with a platform base upon bun feet connected by a slim and stylish stretcher .A most wonderful piece with a fantastic burr finish circa 1830
