A two drawer sofa table in walnut with a quartered veneer ‘butterfly’ top, the twin flaps are also matched veneers, the whole cross-banded,please see additional images. The base has an elegant high arched stretcher. Four swept sabre legs terminating in original lion paw, brass castors. Original brass ring-pull handles. One working key. Super condition, colour and patination. C 1890. Width of the top when flaps are raised 150cm.
