Here we have a stunning Victorian carved Oak hall, lamp, side or console table c1880. As you can see the table has fantastic colour and patina. The plank top has carefully selected timbers which have been quarter sawn to maximise the medullary rays within the Oak grain. The top has a wonderful colour and a serpentine shape with carved gadrooned edge. The front freize is beautifully carved with foliate designs and the break front has a stunning Green Man image. The legs are tapered and ring turned and again perfectly executed. The table is constructed at the rear with revealed dovetail joints. A super table of very good quality in excellent retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 122 cm wide 43 cm deep and 80 cm high.
