Welsh Oak Side Table, Circa 1730

Description

Side table in native Welsh oak, the top with a moulded edge above a single drawer with bog oak cock-beading, over an elaborately shaped apron and with shaped ends, raised on finely turned legs united by stretchers. The brass handles are original.

Wonderful colour and surface patination.

(There has been some old worm damage to one rear leg and adjoining section of stretcher.)
