Tom Scott Antiques has dated this piece to the 1900s.
In a large hall or dining room, this could also work well as a server or console table.

Beautiful lines with the serpentine and cabriole legs, the simplicity of the brass banding to the three sides, a single gilt band to the top and those brass mounts to all four legs are second to none.

You could free stand this piece, although the rear doesn't have the brass banding as shown, but you do see the brass mounts and the lacquer finish is superb.
Three good size drawers and are all running well. There is a finger slide below the drawers, so no need for handles.
Great condition and a superb piece of decorative French furniture.
