A Georgian Mahogany Pad Foot Table

18th century
Description

An 18th century pad foot table of around 1750. Super colour and condition, Cuban mahogany timber with fine grain. Twin drop flaps supported by single gate to both extended leaves, and a quarter moulded hinge joint The turned tapering legs terminating in a pad foot. Small proportions. Lovely small supper or occasional table in great condition. with a waxed patination.Wooden hinges carrying each gate are both sound. Dimensions of the central section are 42 x 75. This table is not the centre section of a larger table, it was made as a stand alone piece and has a half-round moulded edge to the top.
