Large Antique French Oak Farmhouse Table

1900 - 1920
Description

A large antique French farmhouse dining table with a planked oak top and tapering straight legs. It dates from the late 19th / early 20th Century. It is a good large size and comfortably seats 6 or 8 with chairs at the ends. It is a good sitting height with a comfortable leg clearance of 24 3/4" (63cm) all around.

The table has a lovely warm colour and has been lightly waxed and polished to preserve its aged patina. It is in good condition for its age. There are signs of age and use, some marks on the top and knocks around the legs but nothing detrimental.
