Description:
This is a fine quality English Art Deco burr walnut square occasional small pedestal table, circa 1930, in excellent original condition. The table features a square top boasting a stunning burr walnut veneer centre comprising four stunning mirrored panels, flanked by a cross banded border, moulded edge and chamfered corners. The top is raised on a sturdy square column, supported by a square base, with chamfered corners and moulded edge. This piece boasts classic Art Deco styling in the overall design of the curved edges, clean lines and the choice of materials. The table has been French polished by hand, in our workshop, to a professional standard. This table is ideal for use as a coffee table, lamp or side table.
Condition Report:
This table is in excellent original condition. The top is in excellent condition, with no stains, scratches or watermarks. The table has been French polished by hand, in our workshop, to a professional standard. Nominal old used marks to the leading edges and base, but nothing significant considering the age of them. The tabletop support is sturdy and free from any breaks. The table is well constructed, solid in joint and ready to use.
